Since most of the questions on a McKissock course final exam either comes from, or is very similar to, the questions that are found on the chapter quizzes throughout the course, the best way to prepare for a McKissock final exam is to follow these steps.

1) Make a PDF copy of each chapter using the print icon at the bottom of the pages in the course and save the chapter PDF copies to a folder in your computer.  If you have the capacity to merge PDF files, merge them into one large PDF file with the entire course.  If not, you will need to use the individual PDF files.  You can keep this PDF file after you pass the course as part of your electronic library to refer to in your appraisal practice as needed.

2) Go back through the course and retake the quizzes in each chapter.  You might want to take each quiz two or three times because the question bank for each quiz generally has three times as many questions as are offered in any given iteration of the quiz.  Repeating the quiz will give you the chance of seeing more questions on the topic in the chapter.

3) When you are unsure of a question of your understanding of the question or are marked incorrect on a question, search the PDF file for the course material that covers the subject of the question.  When you find that course material, use your highlight tool to highlight the course content in your favorite color.  By the time you have finished going through the quizzes again you should have the course PDF marked up with all the course material where your knowledge was weak.

4) After going through each of the chapter quizzes, go back through the PDF copy of the course and spend the necessary time on each of the sections that have been highlighted until you feel comfortable with an understanding of that content.

5) Just before you take the final exam, scan through the PDF copy again to be sure all the highlighted portions are fresh in your brain.

6) Go take the exam and pass it with flying colors!
